Butterfinger is asking entrants to submit their best one-minute comedy routine incorporating the use of Butterfinger in a clever way. A video featuring comedian Dave Hill (www.DaveHillOnline.com)asking the public to submit their videos can be found at www.ButterfingerComedyShowdown.com.

A panel of professional comedy experts (Dave Hill, Wendy Liebman, Adam Williamson, Adrian Kulp, Jamie Masada, and Bruce Hills) will judge video submissions to identify a group of five semi-finalists and one winner who best represent Butterfinger and comedy, including: comic timing/delivery, originality, stage presence/professionalism, laugh factor, and integrating Butterfinger into the routine in a clever way.

Why:

The Grand Prize Winner will receive career guidance from a professional comedy mentor and manager, a stand up gig at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival (http://www.hahaha.com/en/festival/10/) (including travel and lodging), press support, and a year's supply of Butterfinger candy bars.

When:

Submissions can be posted now through October 1st, 2008. Five semi-finalists will be selected by October 8th. Online voting will determine the two finalists who will compete at the Laugh Factory Comedy Club in Hollywood for the grand prize title.
