TouchSmart Publishing to Demonstrate Touch User Interface (TUI) Textbook at NECC 2004 TouchSmart is to demonstrate a new technology that uses touch user interface (TUI) technology to enable wireless connectivity between a textbook and digital content. The digital content can reside on a DVD attached to a TV as well as a PC and the web. This allows for an interactive textbook experience for students. Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) June 19, 2004 -- TouchSmart Publishing, LLC announced today that Jason Barkeloo, TouchSmarts President and Founder will demonstrate a wireless textbook National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) sponsored by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) to be held June 20-23, 2004, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Barkeloo will demonstrate the prototype textbook on a private appointment basis.
