The conference is being held from September 23 to 25 on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Mass. Lozano will speak from 1:50 p.m. ET to 3:30 p.m. ET on September 25. Other confirmed panelists include representatives from MIT, Intel, Microsoft, Cilk Arts, and the Illinois Informatics Institute at the University of Illinois. Noted writer and broadcaster Robert X. Cringely will moderate the panel.

The panelists will debate how companies such as Intel and Microsoft, which recently announced a $20 million collaboration with universities to spur practical research into consumer applications, will bring programming for multicore computers into wider use.
