Newly released survey of hip New Yorkers lists the top 30 "hotspots" in NYC this summer. Includes the best restuartants, bars, clubs and lounges opened in the last year.

NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) June 21, 2004 -- Looking for whats hot and whats not in New York City dining and nightlife? Out today, the Summer Hot-List 2004" named Spice Market, Marquee, Asiate, Ruby Falls and Per Se as some of the most sought after destinations in New York City.

Selected out of nearly 1500 restaurants, bars, clubs and lounges throughout New York City, the 30 entities were chosen based on a mix of atmosphere, word-of mouth buzz and overall quality. A six month survey of more than 250 in-the-know" New Yorkers resulted in the Summer Hot-list 2004". The list is a part of the newly released Ains-List: Guide to Whats Hot", a quarterly dining and nightlife guide for hip, young and savvy Manhattanites. Other hotspots making the cut include Casa Mono, Megu, Vela, Matsuri, Riingo, 5 Ninth, Vento, Landmarc, Quo and Oceo.

The survey results show that many New Yorkers are excited about the variety and the quality of these places, not just the hype," said Sarnor. Added Sarnor, the list also indicates a positive trend in New York dining. The sheer number of openings in the past six months and just how busy these places are, show that the economy is making a comeback."
