Nanny Cay Village Ready For Occupancy

Nanny Cay Resort and Marina in the British Virgin Islands, has completed phase 1 of the Nanny Cay Village, its new waterside community. The eight waterfront townhouses are accommodated in two blocks: Pelican and Elizabeth. Each block comprises four, privately owned, two- and three-bedroom, multi-level homes.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands (PRWEB) September 20, 2008 -- Nanny Cay Resort and Marina in the British Virgin Islands, has completed phase 1 of the Nanny Cay Village, its new waterside community. The eight waterfront townhouses are accommodated in two blocks: Pelican and Elizabeth. Each block comprises four, privately owned, two- and three-bedroom, multi-level homes.

These townhouses are now available for rental and rates range between $2500 and $3500 for five nights depending on the season with a maximum of six people. 'Stay and Sail' and 'Stay and Dive' packages are also being offered. Each townhouse has central air-conditioning, private deck and a walled courtyard. They also have back-up water and power supplied by Nanny Cay. Each block has parking spaces and a dock for a small boat.

Residents and guests of the units have full access to the Hotel's facilities including the freshwater oceanfront swimming pool and air-conditioned gym.

When completed Nanny Cay Village will comprise eight blocks with a total of thirty-two units on a canal with direct access to the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Phase two of the four-phase development is underway with the construction of Golden Hind and Defiance with a scheduled completion date of December 2009.

The townhouses are being sold as freehold properties with the option of joining Nanny Cay's condo-hotel rental pool. Owners can choose from a selection of interior finishing packages - Cottage, Island Elegance or Tropical Modern - for a turnkey purchase.

The exterior walls of the units use tinted plaster rendering and cement HardiePlank that resembles clapboard, designed to reduce maintenance costs. Each unit interior is laid with either Travetine tiles, or bamboo flooring and ceramic tiles. The design incorporates a hand built kitchen and full bathroom for each bedroom. Third level master bedrooms have a private balcony.
