Moncton, NB, Canada (PRWEB) June 26, 2004 -- Advanced Fitness Designs Inc has released Athletemonitoring.com, an innovative web application that helps coaches, sports medicine professionals, psychologists and conditioning specialists to automatically collect athletes feedback, monitor and individualize training, track injuries and optimise team performance.

Implementing an individualized coaching approach in a team context is often recommended but very difficult to do because of the tremendous amount of time needed. Athletemonitoring.com has been designed to address this issue and offers sport coaches a secure and easy way to improve the coach-athlete communication and the recording and monitoring of training in a team sport context.

The Athletemonitoring system provides a great tool for the coaching staff to monitor and make modifications to the training patterns as well as the ability to automatically receive feedback from athletes," said Charlie Bourgeois, head coach of the Université de Moncton's Men's Hockey Team, this system is particularly useful at the university level where most athletes return home for the summer and therefore are not under direct supervision of the hockey or the strength and conditioning coach for several months."

Key Features

Athletemonitoring.com allows athletes, coaches and sports medicine professionals to log into the system using their confidential password and enter/review information from anywhere using a simple Internet browser. Once feedback, training information, self-monitoring data or injury information is entered by athletes and/or physician on a daily or weekly basis, coaches can then review and analyse training/competition feedback, compare athletes training responses, control training attendance during unsupervised sessions, identify tired athletes, check injury status, identify injury trends or generate individual and team training and injury statistics.

Customization

Athletemonitoring.com can be customized according to sport and specific needs. The customization module allows coaches to tailor feedback questions, effort scales, training quantification methods to their specific sport and coaching preferences. Additional team-specific customizations can be implemented upon request.

Pricing and Availability

Athletemonitoring.com is a subscription-based service. Fees start at $2 per athlete per month (USD) and are based on the number of registered athletes and organization type. An Intranet version is available for larger clubs, universities, national governing body of sport, and other entities that prefer to run Athletemonitoring.com over an internal network or "intranet". Additional modules and services, including training and consultation are also available.
