Tall Ears Will Wave at the Harness Museum in Goshen, NY July 3, 2004

"Tall Ears and Short Tales: Observations from the Barn", is a compelling and informative look at nature's poetry in motion - the horse - and the dedicated people who rescue, rehabilitate, and provide sanctuary for them. Respect, humor, and thoughtful reflections upon the horses' point of view dominate this eclectic assortment of anecdotes. Carol M. Chapman will be autographing copies at the Harness Museum in Goshen, NY July 3rd, 11-1 p.m.

(PRWEB) June 27, 2004 -- On July 3, 2004 the Harness Museum in Goshen, NY will feature a book signing of Carol M Chapmans "Tall Ears and Short Tales: Observations from the Barn from 11-1 p.m.

No one can pass through the picturesque town of Goshen, N.Y., and not feel the presence of the Standardbred. The Trotting Museum and Hall of Fame festivities that will occur over the July 4 weekend are highlighting Goshen as a favorite destination for tourists and harness fans from around the world. From racing, to a ceremony for the latest Hall of Fame inductees, Goshen will be the center of harness racing fans attention July 1 to 5, 2004.

Chapman, who runs an equine sanctuary in Texas, is convinced that Standardbreds are not only the true royalty (in abilities), but also the Labrador Retrievers (in temperament) of the horse world.

Tall Ears and Short Tales invites the reader to pull up a bale of hay, grab a cookie, pour a cup of coffee, sit and relax to stories framed as barn chats. In her stories, Chapman focuses on the bond between humans and animals, gently stressing that animals are not objects over which humans have dominion, but are kindred souls on a mutual passage through our life experiences.
