Both the DataMax 4100SP and 4160 are equipped with an UltraDMA to Ultra160 RAID controller to offer fault tolerant data protection and 100 percent transparency to the host operating system. The DataMax 4100SP is a fully-featured data protection subsystem, including dual Ultra160 SCSI host channels, built-in environmental monitoring, hot-swappable redundant power supplies, hot-swappable disk drives supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5 and JBOD in a 1U rackmount chassis.
