What: Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) and Brown College (http://www.browncollege.edu) alumnus will speak to Brown College students, faculty and staff. The Senator will participate in an informal open forum sharing his memories of Brown College, how the school helped prepare him for success, and field questions from the audience. The long-overdue event has been more than two years in the making.
Senator Hagel will formally be added to the Brown College Radio Broadcasting Wall of Fame. An intimate induction ceremony will follow the Q & A session.
Later that evening, Senator Chuck Hagel will be the keynote speaker at a private Brown College Commencement ceremony. Senator Hagel will address the 2008 graduating class at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in the Xcel Energy Center in downtown Saint Paul.
