Sallie Mae chooses ESI Software to handle their Sybase DirectConnect needs.

Sallie Mae also requires the mainframe based Sybase middleware be upgraded to support both the newer levels of the LAN based middleware and higher levels of the z/OS operating system and the CICS transaction monitor software on the mainframe.
