MicroTek, the national leader in computer classroom rental, announces a new training facility in Oakbrook, IL, a suburb of Chicago. The new facility is located at 3010 Highland Parkway, is the company’s 11th U.S. location, and will open on the 9th of August.

The computer classroom facility is the company’s first to open since 2002 and is the second in the Chicago area. “We weathered the recent economic storm well and are coming out of it with enough business to open two new facilities this summer,” said CEO Don Slivensky. “This location will give our clients a second option in the Chicago area.”

The 8 classroom facility covers 21,000 square feet and was formerly operated by JD Edwards. “This is the second facility we have taken over from JD Edwards, the first being Dallas, and we expect this one to do just as well,” noted Slivensky.

The Oakbrook facility is 20 miles west of downtown Chicago on the border of the Oakbrook and Downers Grove suburbs, and is only a few miles from the company’s headquarters.
