Theodore T. Kurlowicz, JD, CAP®, ChFC®, CLU® Inducted Into The Estate Planning Hall of Fame

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is pleased to induct Theordore T. Kurlowicz. CAP®, ChFC®, CLU®, the Charles E. Drimal Professor of Estate Planning at The American College into the Estate Planning Hall of Fame and award him the Distinguished Accredited Estate Planner Designation for 2008. This award is given annually in recognition of distinguished service in the field of estate planning to select individuals who are nationally recognized experts and leaders in this field. Recipients represent the multidisciplinary concept of estate planning by holding one or more of the following degrees or designations: Attorney (JD), Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Certified Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Certified Trust and Financial Advisors (CTFA).

Professor Kurlowicz's responsibilities at the College include the preparation of textbook materials and courses in estate planning as well as planning for business owners and professionals. He has participated in the development of state insurance agent licensing examinations for numerous states, and has authored and co-authored several books.

Professor Kurlowicz has appeared on several financial services television broadcasts such as NBC Nightly News and segments on "Money Matters," a financial planning feature of Nation's Business Today. He is an adjunct professor at Widener University, where he teaches in the Master of Science in Taxation program, and is a member of several professional organizations including the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

The National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local Estate Planning Councils dedicated to establishing and monitoring the highest professional and educational standards. NAEPC fosters public awareness of the quality services rendered by professionals who meet these standards. NAEPC builds a team approach involving cross-professional disciplines to better serve the public's need in estate planning.
