EarthSearch Communications Acquires 45% Share in Satellite Ltd. In Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia

The new acquisition further reflects EarthSearch Communications' aggressive growth plans in emerging markets worldwide.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 1, 2008 -- EarthSearch Communications International, Inc., a leading supplier and developer of wireless and GPS-based tracking and navigation solutions, announced the new company that will be operating under the name of EarthSearch Georgia.

CIS countries are part of the immediate target for EarthSearch's global expansion. "Republic of Georgia has the most strategic location for our growth," says Kayode Aladesuyi, CEO and President of EarthSearch Communications. "Our solutions for the transportation industry will help even further to enhance the commercialization of Republic of Georgia which has the main access to Europe for its neighboring countries through its ports on the Black Sea."

Republic of Georgia's long-term growth relies heavily on maintaining efficient transportation channels for its bordering countries. The construction on the Baku-T'bilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Baku-T'bilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline, and the Kars-Akhalkalaki Railroad are part of a strategy to capitalize on Georgia's strategic location between Europe and Asia and develop its role as a transit point for gas, oil and other goods. The previous company, Satellite Ltd., already has an established customer base mostly within the oil industry. David Mumladze who is the founder of Satellite Ltd, will also oversee the operations of the new company, EarthSearch Georgia. Mr. Mumladze has a Doctorate Degree in Law and is also a Board of Director at the Georgia Association of Security Services. He resides in Tbilisi.
