WNA Nuclear Energy Index℠ Selected as Underlying Index for European ETF

The WNA Nuclear Energy Index℠ (http://www.wnanuclearenergyindex.com) (TICKER: WNAI), a leading financial indicator of the global nuclear energy industry, has been selected as the underlying index for an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) listed on European stock exchanges.

New York City (PRWEB) October 1, 2008 -- The WNA Nuclear Energy Index℠ (http://www.wnanuclearenergyindex.com) (TICKER: WNAI), a leading financial indicator of the global nuclear energy industry, has been selected as the underlying index for an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) listed on European stock exchanges. The ETFS WNA Global Nuclear Energy Fund is sponsored by London based asset manager, ETF Securities (ETFS).

The ETF is registered in Ireland and has been listed on both the Irish Stock Exchange (TICKER: ETLA ID) and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange (TICKER: NUKE NA). ETFS plans to cross list the ETF on other European and international stock exchanges, including the London Stock Exchange.

The WNA Nuclear Energy Index℠ is the definitive benchmark index for nuclear energy stocks from around the world. Entirely rules-based, the index contains 65 stocks, divided into the following sub-sectors: a) Reactors; b) Construction; c) Fuels; d) Technologies and Services; and e) Nuclear Power Generation.
