New IT Governance and Data Governance Consortium and Public Information Resource Announced

Amid a global economic meltdown and increased concerns about corporate governance, Zeba Consulting, a California consulting firm, announces the roll out of a new consortium of experts and an online public resource for Business and Information Technology professionals.

The peer selected consortium has been coordinated by Dr. Chip Council, an expert Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Council said that ""the consortium already has 30 members including experts from specialties such as Information Security, IT Governance, Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Risk Management firms." The online information resource will consist of a blog, a hyperlinked and encyclopedia style knowledge-base and podcasts all free to the public. The resource will also be vendor neutral and focus on providing valuable resources to companies. The encyclopedia style knowledgebase is expected to be open to the public toward the beginning of November. The consortium also plans to produce podcasts and interview the various experts.
