Cadia Art Gallery takes Art to the Next Level at Grand Opening Party. New Art Gallery Has Creative Spirit To Inspire Community

Cadia Art Gallery in Snellville Georgia proves itself a Hidden Jewel for Art Lovers

(PRWEB) July 15, 2004 -- Entrepreneurs Calvin and Andrea Frazier recently hit a Home Run. Their Gallery celebrated their Two Year Anniversary with an Open House and Artist Showcase. In efforts to give back to the community they co-laborated with area artisans to provide a memorable event for art lovers and patrons.

Attending the event was Artist Supreme Rodederick Vines, who took time from his busy schedule of ART on TOUR to demonstrate his creative painting skills. Calvin Frazier introduced a few of his abstract designs. Atlanta Interior decorator Angela Rhodes (Designer of Atlanta White House) co-laborated with CADIA Arts introducing her chic and eclectic urbanized style. Gallery Curator Andrea Frazier who doubles as Floral Designer and Color Consultant was Host for the Day. Adorning the walls were paintings by Charles Bibbs, Albert Fennell, Andre Thompson and other local artists.

Rounding out the line up were Figurative Painter Michael Martin, Ceramic Art by Minnie, Mixed- Media Artist Darren Constable, Wood Sculptor Darrel Clifton and Abstract Painter Jimmie Gyamerah. There was an overwhelming sense of community involvement and combined efforts. Local small business owners Patricia Joseph (She-Tech Inc) and TPM Property Management provided needed resources and support.

CADIA Art Gallery located in the outskirts of Stone Mountain is without doubt a grassroots movement heading in the right direction. The Owners Calvin and Andrea starting from literally a shoestring have created a rallying point for art enthusiasts in the Atlanta area. CADIA Art Gallery has quietly advanced to the forefront of art and entertainment. True to their mission statement "Connecting People to Fine Art and Culture", they have literally taken the area by storm. Not hindered by limitations they have virtually created a rebirth in the Arts for the local community. Driven by their passions and vision CADIA Arts has transformed the ordinary into something special. They have proven the fact that bigger is not necessarily better. Starting out in relative obscurity, the couple has given local artists the platform and viewing place to express and exhibit their creativity. The converted office space has given art patrons and artists alike a place to call their own. In the weeks to come plans are being made to further enrich area residents. Open studios, refreshments, jazz and poetry are on the itenary. Long overdue for an arts venue, the city of Stone Mountain and Snellville now have an alternative to the Downtown, Mid-town Art District. This is definitely a coup for area residents because previously, there was no such vehicle. CADIA Art Gallery is uniquely positioned to be the area hub for artisans of all disclipines. Highly interactive viewers can engage in conversation with a working artist and see art made before their very eyes.

Concept creator, grassroots marketer and painter Calvin Frazier has been on a personal crusade too not only expose his work but to elevate awareness of the general public to appreciate Creativity in all its form. It appears these guys do not sleep. Fresh off of their Grand Opening success they will be participating in other local events. Next up is 4the Love of Art Forum, Sankofa Festival (APEX MUSEUM) and soon after First Fridays at CADIA Gallery. These guys are not resting on their laurels The City of Snellville has a uncovered gem in CADIA Art Gallery, It will interesting to see what develops out of This couples Love and Passion for the Arts. Snellville previously lacking entertainment and Cultural diversity has embraced their efforts with open arms and Bigger and Better is on the Horizons.
