Grenade to serve as the home medical equipment providers new CFO. The company, which was founded in 1989, is preparing to reorganize and expand its services.

When founded, Chapman Healthcare Services was the first homecare medical equipment provider to open in Vidalia. The company provides a full range of medical equipment for home care, such as intravenous and infusion services, respiratory services, oxygen, hospital beds, wheelchairs, and various supplies. The company also has a full-service pharmacy at its Vidalia headquarters at 305 Maple Drive, which has 21 employees. In 2001, it opened a Savannah office that has seven employees.

Grenade, who holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Mercer University, came to Chapman Healthcare Services from Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, GA. It was there that he served as the hospital's CFO for the past two years. Grenade is also completing a master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Georgia Southern University.

Having worked in the home medical equipment industry for 20 years, Grenade has earned awards for his work in the health care accounting industry. In June, Grenade was honored with a Helen M. Yerger Award by the Healthcare Financial Management Association for work he did as recruitment and retention co-chair for the HFMA Georgia Chapter. In May, he was awarded the Sister Rose Margaret Schweers Most Valuable Member Award by the HFMA Georgia Chapter.

Chapman is a board member and President-elect of the Georgia Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers, a proactive statewide association providing leadership, resources and support to companies that serve homecare patients. He is also a board-certified member of the National Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers, a national organization dedicated to ensuring the provision of high-quality Rehabilitation Technology and related services to people with disabilities.
