NCH Software, a leader in audio, video and telephony software, has opened a US office to best serve the company's growing US consumer base. Sales to businesses and consumers in the United States account for more than 60 percent of sales for the Canberra, Australia-based, software development company.

In addition to providing technical support, the Greenwood Village, Colo., office will focus on software development in telephony and dictation applications such as Axon, IVM, VRS, Express Dictate and Express Scribe, as well as new product development.

Axon is a virtual PBX that manages VoIP and analog calls for businesses, call centers or home office environments. The software can be used in conjunction with other NCH telephony products to create robust telephony solutions for any business, providing affordable, flexible options over traditional phone systems. Express Scribe is one of NCH's free software applications, designed to assist the transcription of audio recordings. This computer transcriber application offers valuable features for typists including variable speed playback, multi-channel control, file management and more.
