Artist home recuperating after emergency surgery

"Artist slowly recuperating from very painful and delicate emergency procedure"......

New York City - July 25, 2004; A-PRmedia has been informed today by Charlie Zaa's manager Carlos Orjuela, that the artist is doing well and recuperating but in a tremendous amount of pain.

Charlie was administered an epidural for this very delicate procedure which took close to 2 hours to remove the 6 stones that caused the severe pain attacks earlier this week. The first signs of pains occurred in New York during a festival performance but the artist did not want to cut his tour short. On Tuesday morning during the second phase of his promotional tour in Puerto Rico the artist was forced to halt his gruesome tour promoting his upcoming album "Puro Sentimiento" due to the severe pains.

Charlie Zaa shot to fame with his first release "Un disco Mas" which followed other #1 hits as "Flor Sin Retono", "La Pollera Colora" among many others. Currently the first single off his upcoming album "LLora Corazon" has been accepted with rave reviews.

According to his manager Charlie Zaa will be up and about shortly to resume his promotional tour for his upcoming release "Puro Sentimiento" due out Tuesday July 27, 2004.
