Forget the Pumpkin Patch - Scrapbook and Rubber Stampers to Seek The Great Pumpkin Online

40+ Store "Online Shop Hop" invites all good little crafters to "hop" online for prizes and projects as part of The Great Pumpkin Search, October 15 - November 16, 2008.

(PRWEB) October 9, 2008 -- Linus isn't the only one hoping for goodies from The Great Pumpkin this year. Scrapbooking Roads announces The Great Pumpkin Search - the first ever online Shop Hop for scrapbooking and rubber stamp hobbyists. Over 40 online retailers specializing in scrapbook and rubber stamp products have joined together to form the virtual pumpkin patch. Once found, The Great Pumpkin will offer over $1000 in prizes. The search starts October 15th at www.TheGreatPumpkinSearch.com.

How it Works:

During the online shop hop, papercraft enthusiasts can "hop" from website to website of participating retailers, seeking out hidden pumpkin images. Once they find each site's pumpkin, a simple click and a few keystrokes will complete their entry in the prize drawing. Participation is free. Participants need to register their email address at www.TheGreatPumpkinSearch.com.

In addition to hiding pumpkins, many online retailers will offer fall-themed crafting ideas, make 'n takes projects and special offers for online shop hoppers.

To enter the prize drawing, customers must visit all participating stores' websites, find and click the hidden pumpkin, and register their email address. More details about the event are available on the event website at www.TheGreatPumpkinSearch.com.

After conducting 15 regional shop hops in the past year throughout the United States and Canada, Pumpkin Search organizer Scrapbooking Roads responded to popular demand to create an 'online shop hop' enabling more people to participate and allowing crafters the opportunity to "shop hop" from the comforts of their own homes.
