She is best known by her exuberant renditions of "Niki Nana" and "The Promise" at YANNI's sold out concerts. When asked the classification of her music, she said "new age soul". In this recording, Alfreda took regular songs, and turned them into ethereal, soulful, eclectic masterpieces. The arrangements are FAR different than anyone would expect. This CD shows Alfreda's amazing range and versitility. The warmth of her voice and the "spiritual" delivery of her performance is stunning. It also features Yanni acclaimed violinist, Karen Briggs.
