Canon USA Partners With Firm to Bring National Technology Showcase to Jacksonville

Canon USA has teamed up with Bennetts Business Systems to bring four nationally-recognized speakers to Jacksonville for a one-day technology showcase to discuss business challenges that affect the legal, financial and tech industries.

(PRWEB) July 31, 2004 -- The event, scheduled for Aug. 18. at The Adams Mark Hotel, is the first of its kind to be sponsored by Canon in Jacksonville. The Digital Solutions Forum" will showcase the latest imaging technology designed to help companies improve their workflow processes. The event is free and open to the public.

Pete Peterson, managing director of Law Firm Business Institute of Ridgeway, Colo., kicks off the morning with a presentation entitled Law Firm Economics: Improving Your Firms Profitability." At 10 a.m., Tom Davis of Knowledge Concepts Inc. of Valdosta, Ga. will give a presentation called The Digital Advantage" on how accountants can conduct their practices using less paper. Ponte Vedra Beach attorney Scott Draughon will discuss cyber-terrorism and computer insecurity in a noon keynote presentation titled Dungeons and Dragons - Its Your Move." Later in the afternoon, Tom Crouser of Crouser and Associates of Charleston, West Virginia, will discuss Handling the Seven Classic Print Shop Financial Problems."
