The Biscayne Bay Young Republicans Elect new Directors

The Biscayne Bay Young Republicans, South Florida's longest running Young Republicans Organization, elected three new directors at their July 2004 Directors Elections

(PRWEB) July 31, 2004 -- The Biscayne Bay Young Republicans, a twenty-three year Young Republicans organization, is proud to announce the election of three new board members. Richard Webster, former BBYR President, was elected as the clubs new Recruitment Chairperson. Dr. Marion Thorpe, a former candidate for the United States House of Representatives, was elected the clubs new Political Action Director. Ralph Lemus was re-elected to the position of Newsletter Editor. In addition, former Political Action Director and current Florida Federation of Young Republicans Regional Chair, Eddie de la Portilla, was approved as the clubs new Secretary until the next Executive and Directors Election in the Summer of 2005.

Additional, the BBYR would like to announce that our Debate between Leslie Rothenberg and Al Milian, candidates for State Attorney, on August 4th is garnering great interest in the community.
