The University of San Francisco Entrepreneurship Program today announced that the 'CALL for PAPERS' period has begun for the INAUGURAL SAN FRANCISCO-SILICON VALLEY GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP RESEARCH CONFERENCE. The conference will take place March 9 - 12, 2005 in San Francisco, U.S.A and is organized by the University of San Francisco School of Business and Management Entrepreneurship Program. (PRWEB) August 5, 2004 -- THE INAUGURAL SAN FRANCISCO-SILICON VALLEY GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP RESEARCH CONFERENCE (March 9 - 12, 2005 in San Francisco, U.S.A), organized by the University of San Francisco School of Business and Management Entrepreneurship Program, is now accepting Research Papers and Panel Proposals for consideration of participation. The Conference Paper and Panel Submission Deadline is October 15th, 2004.

The conference organizers, Professors Mark Cannice, Roger Chen, and Zhan Li, indicated that, "The conference will commence with research paper and panel presentations on March 9 and 10 and move on to a highly energetic international business plan competition on March 11 and 12 that features many top venture capitalist and executive judges."

The research conference and the business plan competition will provide an opportunity for SCHOLARS, VENTURE CAPITALISTS AND LEADING ENTREPRENEURS TO LEARN FROM EACH OTHER IN BOTH PAPER AND PANEL PRESENTATIONS, AS WELL AS BY PARTICIPATING IN A LEADING INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION, WHERE CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WITNESS LEADING NEW VENTURE TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES PITCH THEIR PLANS AND RECEIVE FEEDBACK FROM MANY OF THE WORLDS LEADING VENTURE INVESTORS. Attending faculty, deans, and program directors will also learn many of the mechanics of launching a business plan competition for their own university.
