BAM Radio Network Inks Deal with HighReach Learning to Sponsor a New Educators' Channel

New programs to focus on next practices and teaching resources for teachers, educators and homeschoolers.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 17, 2008 -- Today, the BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving & Learning and Jackstreet Media, announced that it has reached a deal with HighReach Learning to sponsor a new channel exclusively for early childhood professionals. The new "BAM! Educators Channel" will feature programming specifically aimed at teachers, school administrators, professional care givers and homeschooling parents. The channel will be added to the BAM Radio site at www.bodymindandchild.com and be syndicated across the BAM Network. The program will engage leading experts in the fields of education and early childhood development and make the most up-to-date insights and practices available to educators on demand. Additionally, each segment will offer quick, useful tips and tools for educators.

"We have been contemplating adding a channel for educators for some time and we're thrilled that HighReach Learning has stepped up to become our charter sponsor of the channel," said Rae Pica, director of Moving & Learning and co-founder of the BAM Radio Network.

The HighReach Learning customer base includes public and private schools, Head Start programs, child development centers, family daycare providers, YMCA centers, church-based preschools and more.

About BAM Radio Network

The BAM Radio Network was launched to address the severe imbalance in parenting practices caused by the "commercialization of parenting" and the emphasis on intellectual development that excludes the critical role of the mind/body connection in early childhood. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming challenges the popular genre of parenting notions that has given rise to commercial products like Baby Einstein, Brainy Baby and lapware, all of which claim to accelerate a child's mental development in the face of science that suggests otherwise. The network is a joint venture between New Hampshire-based Moving & Learning and Los Angeles-based Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. The program is produced by Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Errol Smith and distributed through the Affiliate Nanocasting Network.
