Canadian invention winning some of the most important marketing real estate on the planet - the purses and wallets of countless thousands of people.

Delinting cloths in a tiny credit card size package are proving an extraordinary hit with women. The invention hails from Vancouver, Canada, and is spreading to hotels, drycleaners, and even pet owners all over North America.

(PRWEB) August 12, 2004 -- Hot date or important meeting? That lint, or worse, staring at you in the mirror can be a real problem. Least 'til now.

Russell King's patented LINT CARD credit card size pack of de-linting sheets are taking over a precious spot in countless purses and wallets all over North America.

"Not only are they handy, the cards are a marketer's dream," says the inventor. 'Pfizer, Crowne Plaza, IDA and many other companies are using them to carry important marketing information. They are a prime piece of advertising real estate, certainly some of the most important on the planet. Just realize how difficult it is to get advertising messages literally carried around with someone.

"We believe, in some areas, up to 95% of those buying Lint Cards are women. They absolutely love them."

King, who is also the president of ImpresImage Company Ltd., of Vancouver, Canada, says they won't be stopping at just lint sheets. "This is just the start. We have other products coming down the pipeline. This is probably the biggest thing since book matches and the perfect replacement for them."

"One of the big surprises has been our reception in the pet world! We are big with pet owners and have been publicized in Modern Dog and mainstream fashion magazines such as FLARE and FASHION and REAL SIMPLE."

Production is being handled by a machine built by Peter Roosen, Co-founder of Atomica, a marketing company working very closely with ImpresImage (www.impresimage.com). Tens of thousands of lint cards are being produced by this machine in Nanaimo, BC, and may eventually be manufactured by portable machines.

Roosen said getting market penetration would be greatly aided by portable manufacturing. "It shortens delivery logistics and will probably facilitate franchising should we eventually go that route."
