Introducing Airbag Motorcycle Vest for Kids

Hit-Air Children's Motorcycle and Equestrian Airbag vests now available in the USA.

(PRWEB) October 22, 2008 -- PEDCO, LLC announces that the long awaited children's version of the Hit-Air bag vest is finally available in the US market. The vest, called a KV vest, represents a significant advancement for child's safety apparel for both powersport, ATV, MX as well as for equestrian.

The "Kid Vest" version has all the features of the adult airbag jackets and vests.

The "Hit-Air" motorcycle vest incorporates an airbag system that inflates in one half second when a rider is accidentally ejected from a motorcycle or scooter to protect the neck, torso and hip. It also uses CE certified armor to protect the shoulders, elbows, and the spine.

Activation is simple and automatic. A coiled wire is attached to the motorcycle and the jacket. Once the rider and the motorcycle are separated, the coiled wire pulls a "key" out of a gas release system and inert gas inflates the air bag. The inflated jacket provides the necessary impact protection. After a few seconds the gas is automatically released through the gas release valve.

The available sizes are: Small, Medium and Large, for children that weight between 50 to 80 pounds and are between 3' 9" to 4' 9" tall.
