Myriad Intellect certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Minnesota Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC).

(PRWEB) August 18, 2004 -- Myriad Intellect has been certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Minnesota Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC). This certification allows Myriad Intellect to participate in special programs sponsored by the major companies in the Twin Cities designed to increase the number of minority vendors that they deal with. This also enables us to more easily work with the government contract systems at local, state and federal level.

To qualify as an MBE, a company must be owned, controlled and operated on a daily basis (at least 51% ownership) by a US citizen who belongs to one of the following categories: African-American, Hispanic American, Native American, Asian-Pacific American and Asian-Indian American.

The certification process requires interviews, background checks and other investigations to ensure that minority ownership truly exists.
