Debut Album by Stacy Whited Stirs Up a ÂStorm A fresh new voice garners "buzz" for her debut country album. Nashville, TN (PRWEB) August 23, 2004 When it was announced last week that Nashville recording artist, Stacy Whited, was planning to return to her native Kansas for the national release of her debut album, Give, on September 7, 2004, it touched off a Âstorm of interest in the Sunflower state. Calls began pouring into her management office in Nashville, with requests to add appearances to StacyÂs already busy schedule planned for her Âhomecoming to the Hutchinson/Wichita area. To accommodate the additional engagements, StacyÂs previous week-long itinerary has been expanded to ten days, and now boasts even more radio and television interviews, CD signings, concerts, and other promotional activities in the central Kansas region. StacyÂs Âwhistle-stop tour of Kansas caps an intense schedule of Âpre-release activities for Give that have included a recent concert performance in Greensboro, North Carolina (where she drew a larger number of fans at the Borders Books than current ÂAmerican Idol winner Fantasia Barrino had in a recent show) and a Nashville concert guest-slot with T. Graham Brown. Stacy also has an upcoming show in the Seattle, Washington area, and she is scheduled to sing the National Anthem at the Â66th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration, in Shelbyville, Tennessee, on August 30. They say: ÂYou canÂt go back home again, but for Stacy, ÂThereÂs no place like home, when it comes to sharing her talents with the very people and places who have supported her all of her life, and she is very excited about the Kansas homecoming. ÂAfter years of believing that this would happen, I finally feel that I am ready to take my place among other professional singers who make a living in this business. Give is a dream-come-true for me, and I want to share it with my closest family and friends Stacy says. Stacy has been striving for this goal for many years. She first made her showbiz mark at age nineteen when she was crowned Miss Hutchinson, and she participated in the Miss Kansas Pageant. She was married shortly thereafter, and motherhood soon followed. Like many young couples, Stacy and her husband David struggled to make ends meet. Stacy worked full-time to help support her family, and she had no choice but to shelve her plans for a singing career. Later on, after a debilitating illness while she was carrying her second child, Stacy came to the conclusion that Âlife is too short to let your deepest desires go unfulfilled. Taking control of her destiny, she and David found great success with a direct-selling home based marketing company, and through this endeavor, she gained the financial freedom to launch her singing career. She and her family relocated to Nashville, and Give stands as a testament to her belief in herself, and her strong determination to succeed. Give showcases StacyÂs stunning voice on 10 selections chosen from hundreds of songs from an elite group of Nashville songwriters. With subject matter that will appeal to a wide audience, Give has something for everyone. Recorded at Emerald Studio in Nashville, Give is chock-full of contemporary country songs of love and uplifting messages, and StacyÂs voice soars above wonderful instrumental accompaniment, provided by some of the townÂs top studio musicians. Highlights of the album include ÂBeauty Of Us, which is the featured radio track that leads the album. It is a mid-tempo song that rocks along with a positive Âcan-do message of how to make a relationship work between two people. The naïve and innocent ÂKeep Me Forever Falling is equally compelling, with an unshakable melody. ÂPeople Miss Planes is a heart-wrenching ballad of love lost, and the tear in StacyÂs voice breaks your heart. ÂGive the title track, is a driving uptempo tune with a positive message of sharing of oneÂs self. Stacy says: ÂThe words really exemplify the kind of person I strive to be. ÂIf I Could Be Anything rocks hard, and drives home the idea that you can dream big, and reach for the stars in life. ÂAll The Way closes the album with a haunting melody that builds and swells around beautiful piano and strings, to a most satisfying close of a first-rate debut by a songstress who you will definitely be hearing a lot more about.
