ActiveXperts Software releases version 2.3 of ActiveSocket Network Communication Toolkit

(*) Enhanced support for SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c compliant servers. You can perform Get, GetNext and Set operations on any SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c compliant IP device or computers;

(*) SNMP Send Trap module: there's a new class (SnmpTrapOut) to enable sending of SNMP Trap notifications. SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c traps are supported. Support for all major SNMP data types, including strings, numbers, time ticks, OID (object identifiers), IP addresses and more;

(*) SNMP Receive Trap module: there's a new class (SnmpTrapIn) to enable sending of SNMP Trap notifications. SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c traps are supported

(*) ICMP object now supports TTL. You can define a maximum TTL, and you'll receive the actual TTL value of a Ping operation;

(*) Improved Http object, including support for proxy servers (including Microsoft ISA server), proxy authentication, secure web sites and SSL;

(*) Many new samples, including samples for VBScript, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual Basic .NET, ASP and ASP .NET
