Ruth King is a serial entrepreneur. Over the past 25 years she has owned seven businesses. Her first business, Business Ventures Corporation, began operations in 1981. She is especially proud of one contractor she helped climb out of a big hole. He started with a negative $400,000 net worth 15 years ago and is still in business today, profitably and with a positive net worth.

Ruth holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University and University of Pennsylvania, respectively. She also holds an MBA in finance from Georgia State University.
