Long Live Crime Records signs two new bands to label Los Angeles based Long Live Crime Records have signed Tim Cullen and the Universal Steve to their label. Both bands are slated for release in October. (PRWEB) August 29, 2004 -- Tim Cullen was the lead singer/songwriter for the band Summer Camp, who were previously on Maverick Records. Tim has been touring with Sugarcult recently and has finished his first solo project. Produced by Thom Flowers who is known for the Sugarcult and Toad the Wet Sprocket records it is a power pop hit. Some of the music from Tims record Fun Razor has already hit television being featured in Foxs hit show North Shore"
The Universal Steves hail from the Sacramento Delta and include former members of Acme Rocket Quartet and Warner Bros. recording artists Chance the Gardner. A tangy mix of yalternative the record E Pluribus Esteban has already been well received in the college market.
Both records are scheduled to be released in October. The 5th and 19th respectively. Long Live Crime Records, who are distributed by Koch Entertainment, have previously released former Janes Addiction bassist Eric Averys project Polarbear and the Orange County pop punk band El Centro.
We are very excited to be releasing these records. This past year has been very successful for us with Polarbear and El Centro records and it is nice to know that we are entering our second year with some powerful releases. The response we have gotten to Tim Cullen and the Universal Steves has been great." Says General Manager Susan Ferris.
