The Family Travel Association is a network of travel consultants, and supplier members who are dedicated to working with the family travel market. Denise started her career in the travel industry in 1982. She is passionate about community service, and partners with many organizations and school districts in their fundraising efforts. Her passion is reflected in her enthusiasm to create lifelong memories for her clients. Denise is also Founder and President of Arizona Independent Commissioned Travel agents (AZICT), an organization providing support, education and resources to better serve the growth and development of the independent agent. It’s important to her to nurture and be a mentor to her peers. She is also heavily involved with community service organizations across the U.S., such as Pilot Club International, whose focus is raising awareness regarding brain disorders. Denise spent several years running an Outreach program for girls at risk. By far it was one of the most important and rewarding experiences in her life.

Denise, her husband David and their 2 children, live in Arizona. Her daughter, who is 15, often travels with her on custom, unique girl's trips for “Reconnecting with Your Teenager” programs! Her son, who is 11, uses a wheelchair for mobility, but enjoys life and travel just like any typical kid! In fact, he is an athlete participating in Mesa Association of Sports for the Disabled. On the Accessible Travel you can see photos of her family horseback riding at a terrific barrier free dude ranch, as well as skiing in Arizona! Denise and her husband, partially home school their son, and is always planning their next “field trip” to support thematic units.

Denise’s personal travel knowledge is as diverse as the travel needs of her clients! Areas of Expertise include Mission Teams Travel, Group Travel of all kinds, Destination Weddings, Vow Renewals, Honeymoons, Health and Wellness journeys, Family Reunions, Fundraising Travel and Accessible Travel for individuals and athletes with disabilities. Denise personally stays involved in travel consulting for the sheer love of working with and helping people. She feels that it is vital that you know whom you trust your travel needs to.
