New Approach to Plastic Surgery Education - The Cosmetic Enhancement Expo

The Cosmetic Enhancement Expo, sponsored by Beautysurg.com, is the first consumer learning event in the U.S. to educate the public about plastic surgery and related fields. The event takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, November 5th-7th, 2004.

Known as the Cosmetic Enhancement Expo, the three day event will educate 15,000 consumers about their options in cosmetic enhancement and introduce them to local and national experts and suppliers in the industry. The educational conference and exposition sponsored by Beautysurg.com, will feature some of the country's leading medical professionals, such as Malcom Paul, MD (former president of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), Garth Fisher, MD (creator of ABCs Extreme Makeover), and Zein Obagi, MD (creator of Obagi Nu-Derm Skincare) to name a few. Informative lectures will be presented by experts on such topics as patient safety, choosing a doctor, surgical techniques, innovative procedures, financing, digital imaging, new technology, and non-invasive treatments.

In addition to plastic surgery, consumers will also be educated about cosmetic dentistry, dermatology, vision correction, anti-aging medicine, fitness, and skincare. A trade show floor with 200 exhibitors and 2 theater stages for live demonstrations will further expand the opportunities for learning.
