BzzAgent Launches Word of Mouth Marketing Campaign for the March of Dimes BzzAgent, a Boston-based word-of-mouth marketing and research firm, today launched a "free of service charge" BzzCampaign for the March of Dimes. This is the first GoodBzz Partnership Campaign launched by BzzAgent. Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 2, 2004 -- BzzAgent, a Boston-based word-of-mouth marketing and research firm, today launched a BzzCampaign for the March of Dimes, a voluntary health organization tackling premature birth. The three-month program aims to increase volunteer participation in the March of Dimes and educate the public on the risks of prematurity, as well as to better understand how word-of-mouth is spread among the March of Dimes supporters. This is the inaugural program in BzzAgents GoodBzz Partnership, which will annually provide three non-profits or open-source projects with the capability to engage the BzzAgent evangelist community in a 12-week word-of-mouth campaign, at no charge.
The March of Dimes BzzCampaign will recruit from BzzAgents over 55,000 US-based brand evangelists to enlist 1,000 agents for each of the programs three months. All agents involved in the campaign will be encouraged to spread word of the March of Dimes efforts around the issue of prematurity, and to educate their friends, family and acquaintances about the seriousness and prevalence of premature birth. Agents may engage others through volunteering, discussing concerns and resources with those who might be affected by premature birth, and recommending the resources at MarchofDimes.com. Their efforts will focus heavily on spreading the word among parents and prospective parents, especially moms of preemies. In fact, the BzzCampaign coincides with the launch of the March of Dimes new Share" online community, centered around a message board for people affected by premature birth to discuss and share their stories.
At the close of the program, the March of Dimes will receive a comprehensive report detailing the insights, learning, and trends gathered from analysis of the data and feedback collected during the program. The March of Dimes BzzCampaign will conclude in December 2004; a follow-on Good Bzz Partnership Campaign will launch in Q1 of next year.
