Small town writer gets big surprise.

A small town author has been amazed at the speed in which his very first manuscript was accepted, edited, and then brought to market. Now he's even more amazed at the way the book is selling online.

Clovis, NM (PRWEB) September 7, 2004 -- Tom DiFrancesca III, a freelance newspaper columnist whose Internet Safari" column, which appears weekly in two small town New Mexico newspapers, has been notified that his first book has been brought to market early. Maryland based publisher America House Book Publishers made the announcement on the first day of September.

Prior to attempting to have a book published, Mr. DiFrancesca had researched the subject and found that the average time to market, after having a book manuscript accepted was one to two years. He also discovered that it was not easy to have a manuscript accepted in the first place, and that a rejection slip (or many) was far more the norm. What sets Mr. DiFrancesca apart is that he submitted his manuscript to only one publisher, had a signed contract within 30 days after the submission, and now, just four months later the book has been released.

Mastering Internet Explorer: Tips, Tricks, & Timesavers" began showing up almost immediately in the online catalogs of major American booksellers such as Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Borders, and Amazon. Popular European based companies such as Germanys Abe Books and Lakeside Books International in the United Kingdom are also offering the book. On the morning of September 2, the books sales ranking at the Barnes and Noble Web site was 167,280, but by noon of the same day, the book had risen up in the ranks to 97, 120. As of mid-day on Sept. 3, the book was ranked at 69,045.

Mastering Internet Explorer: Tips, Tricks, & Timesavers" is written in Toms unique down home" style of writing. His ability to take complicated subject matter and to turn it into something easy and useable for the typical home computer user, is what sets the book apart from most of the other computer and Internet related books. This is just the first book in a very long series." Tom reports. In fact, Ive got at least two more books being prepped for publication in 2005". I am just awed by the speed at which the book was accepted, and now Im just down right flabbergasted that it has already become available to the consumer.
