British Council Chooses Stream UK

The British Council has chosen Stream UK to deliver its rich media content worldwide.

London, UK (PRWEB) September 8, 2004 -- The British Council have selected Stream UK to provide them with the facility to deliver all their online audio and video.

The Council uses Stream UKs proprietary content management system which allows complete tracking of the files including previews, metadata and live statistics.

"We have been impressed with Stream UK and the added functionality that they have provided at no extra cost," said Ian Barnes, Web Operations Manager for the Internet Business Development Team at the British Council. "As soon as we upload files to the system they are replicated across the network and we can immediately see the html code that we need to get them to play."

In future the British Council plans to extend its use of streaming media throughout its worldwide network of offices. Stream UK are working the Council to develop a set of best practice guidelines for this purpose.
