18 of 'Top 20' Games Publishers Use Perforce to Manage Digital Assets

Perforce manages large binaries and expedites collaboration between creative teams and engineers

Alameda, Calif. (Vocus) November 3, 2008 -- 'Game Developer' magazine recently released its annual Top 20 Publishers report. Eighteen of the 20 companies selected use Perforce to manage their game assets.

Games projects often consist of millions of lines of code, hundreds of design documents, and tens of thousands of individual art assets. Perforce ensures that all these assets are reproducible and traceable by keeping track of each file's complete change history.
