The Editor's Dr. and his staff informed him that his nerve was non-functioning. They discussed hearing aids -a BiCross hearing aid or the Bone Anchored Hearing Aid, aka BAHA, by Entific. The benefits and disadvantages of each were explained clearly. the Dr. was leaning toward the BAHA saying that he was having great success. Although not too thrilled about having a hole drilled in his head after the Intratympanic therapy surgery, (although assured it was a painless out-patient procedure ).
