Lecture by Dr. P. C. Lunia in United Nations

(PRWEB) September 10, 2004 -- The founder and chairman of Golden India Foundation Dr. P.C. Lunia will be delivering a lecture on Role of NGOs in eliminating Poverty through education" at the 57th Annual DPI/NGO conference being organized under the aegis of United Nations on 10th September 2004 in New York. This conference will witness participation of representatives from selected international NGOs.

Earlier on 9th September 2004 Dr. Lunias book A Vision of Golden America" will be released by the chairman of senate democratic campaign committee Jon Corzine at the grand function of Capitol Hill Mega Business Summit III being organized in Washington, DC by World Business Forum, Inc. This Mega Business Summit III would be chaired by the chairman of World Business Forum, Inc. Dr. Krishna Jhaveri.

Eminent Indian Personalities like Mr. Sharad Shah (Share and Care), Dr. Sudhir Parikh (IAFPE), Dr. Navin Mehta (Bhartiya Vidhyabhavan), Dr. Deepak Nandi (Healthcare MGT.) and others would be attending the conference as special guests of honor.

American Congressman Gary Ackerman (NY), Frank Pallone (NJ), Gregory Meeks (NY), Michael Honda (CA), Joseph Crowley (NY), Anthony Weiner (NY), Joe Wilson (SC) and Congresswoman Nita Lowey (NY) and American Senators Chuck Schumer (NY), Babaraa Mukulski (MD) are the special invitees for the award ceremony.

Dr. Lunia has suggested practical measures in his book for resolving the problem of terrorism in America and establishing peace and stability in Iraq. He has also underlined the significance of the Indian principles of peace and non-violence for restoring and promoting moral and spiritual values in American society.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Lunia has earlier authored a book titled A Vision of Golden India" enumerating an achievable action plan for making India truly Golden.
