UniSay Dialog™ is designed to increase efficiency in audio postproduction by automatically synchronizing script to audio, then providing playback in a teleprompter style interface for cueing voice talent.

UniSay Dialog addresses the needs of the professional studio offering dubbing, voice over or ADR services. Studios currently waste hours, manually preparing scripts and loop tracks for voice talent.

UniSay Dialog is uniquely designed with the pro-audio workflow in mind. It offers such practical features as local or external synchronization and direct transfer of audio from Digidesign Pro Tools and Avid workstations. UniSay Dialog offers two modes of cueing, teleprompt mode for dubbing and karaoke style for ADR.

How it works

Using UniSay Dialog software, studio professionals upload a dialogue transcript and matching audio file to the UniSay Web Services. UniSay’s MPEG-7 analysis engines processes the data, and create a new synchronized file, which is then viewed along with the corresponding video.

Any final edits to text and timing can be made using UniSay Dialog’s intuitive interface. Files are then played in synchronized teleprompter mode on a monitor visible to voice talent. If translation is desired, UniSay Dialog can automatically translate and synchronize the new version to the original. Control of playback can be given to voice talent for practice sessions, and then operated by studio director for the actual recording.
