SAVE Jordan A fund-raiser will be held next month to help pay for the medical expenses for one man's heart operation, which his family said they can no longer afford. (PRWEB) September 15, 2004 -- Earlier this year, the 23-year-old Jordan Julaton told his mother to stop spending money on countless operations to treat his congested heart disease.
Julaton's left ventricle and left atrium are dilated, which causes a series of infections and may lead to heart failure. Julaton currently is at long term care facility near St. Luke's Medical Center in Manila, Philippines.
A fund-raiser will be held next month to help pay for the medical expenses for one man's heart operation, which his family said they can no longer afford.
The "Save Jordan" raffle will take place on Oct. 1 at the Guam International Country Club during bingo intermissions, beginning 6:30 p.m. going on through the evening. Prizes can be won without attendance. About 5,000 tickets need to be sold to pay for Jordan Julaton's $25,000 heart surgery.
Ticket price is $5, or $45 for ten tickets. The grand prizes are two round trip tickets to Manila, Philippines, or Saipan or Rota. Other prizes include free meals, hotel accommodations, dining, gift certificates, jewelry and more donated by various local corporate sponsors.
