Big Five Launches Travel Blog for its Guests

Big Five Tours & Expeditions is debuting its new travel blog for clients. The company developed this blog as a way for travelers to share those important moments and amazing photographs with family and friends back home. The travel blog has been designed for use with any computer, laptop or PDA.

The company developed this blog as a way for travelers to share those important moments and amazing photographs with family and friends back home. The travel blog has been designed for use with any computer, laptop or PDA.

Each client who books a trip with Big Five will be assigned a username and password. Then, those who wish to participate can sign in and create a profile. The profile includes highlights of the itinerary, the inspiration for the trip and expectations about the upcoming journey. Then, each person uploads his or her email addresses to be included in the contact group. There is no limit on the number of addresses.

Once created, the guest's personal travel blog is ready to use. Travelers log in and are able to post captions and photos (each photo must be under 4 MB). Photos are uploaded individually, with no limit on the number of photos. Each time a blog is updated, members in that individual's contact list are automatically notified via email to let them know the blog has changed. Updates are posted in 48 hours.

Guests have two options to share their experiences. They can elect to allow only those on their personal email list to view the blog; or, they can choose to have it uploaded for viewing by both their personal list and with other visitors who come to the Big Five blog site (http://www.bigfive.com/travelblog/travel-blog.php).

Blogs will remain active for up to three months. It is important to note that the information provided by travelers will never be shared with anyone nor used by Big Five for any marketing purpose whatsoever.
