New Orthopedic Walker With Dual E-Z Release Folding System From Tri-Design

Due to patented manufacturing processes, Tri-Design is able to offer its All American-made new walker at a substantially lower cost than other walkers currently on the market.

The highlight feature of the new walker is the Dual E-Z Release system that adds safety and ease of operation to this important aspect of the walker. The E-Z Release system is a strong mechanism for stabilizing the pivot points when in the locked-open position. Extra bracketing on the hinged system makes the unit more stable against lateral rocking than other units, giving the user more confidence in mobility. A unique feature of the system is that it provides the user with visual and tactile cues as to when the legs are in the locked position.

The E-Z Walker is also the lightest folding walker on the market. Even with its light weight the E-Z Walker is rated at 300 pounds capacity, which compares very favorable against competitor models. The new handgrips are securely attached in manufacture through a proprietary process that assures the grip will not slip in any direction throughout the life of the unit. The grip has comfortable slip-proof ribbing to further maintain stable control of the unit when in use.

Two basic units are available: the adult model, which has a height range of 31" to 38," and the junior model, which has a height range of 24" to 32." All units have telescoping legs that adjust up to 8" in length to accommodate a wide range of user heights. All units are outfitted with anti-rattle bushings in each leg. The anti rattles are assembled with proprietary tooling which assures they will never loosen or slip off the extensions, which is a common problem on most of our competitor's products.

Wheel sets are available for both the adult and youth models. These come complete with glide caps to aid in sliding of the rear leg. The wheels are an industry-leading 5" in diameter, offering more ease and comfort for the user. Wheels are very easy to install; the consumer simply removes the existing rubber leg cap and slides on the wheel assembly - no tools required.
