DuraComm Does It Again with Two New Innovative Rack Mount Products

DuraComm announces a brand new series of rack mount Fan Trays for cooling DC equipment as well as a simple but innovative DIN Rail Rack.

North Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) November 13, 2008 -- DuraComm Corporation is pleased to announce two new product lines to its ever-growing portfolio. The first is the DCF Series of Fan Trays designed for cooling DC equipment and the other is a DIN RAIL Rack.

The product development team at DuraComm has remained busy since introducing multiple new products at the APCO Show in August. The new DCF - Fan Tray Series delivers a compact and economical rack cooling solution. Ricardo Nunez, DuraComm's Technical Manager, designed in flexibility for use with 12, 24 or 48 volt DC equipment and states that "these fan trays can be positioned at the bottom of a rack to force air through the cabinet, or at the top to exhaust air out or below specific pieces of equipment for spot cooling." Each model offers a front panel on/off switch and an LED indication for DC input. Airflow of 300 CFM (cubic feet per minute) is generated by fans with a life expectancy of 50,000 hours.

Also being introduced is a DIN Rail Rack - a 19" rack mount shelf with a 35 mm x 15 mm DIN Rail mounting bracket. The sturdy steel shelf supports up to 30 pounds of equipment. A simple, versatile and convenient product that easily accommodates DIN mounted power supplies, breakers, relays, distribution blocks, etc.
