ThinkHost, a New York based hosting company established in 1999, is currently giving away hosting accounts with a combined value of over $9,000 to progressive non-profit organizations.

Vladislav Davidzon, Executive Director of ThinkHost explains - "Having been involved with community groups for years, I understand just how limited their annual budgets can be. As part of ThinkHost's ongoing social responsibility commitment, my company would like to extend an offer of free hosting to US based, registered non-profit progressive organizations."

In order to qualify for the free hosting, applicant organizations must hold 501c3 status, have a primary focus on environment, grass roots democracy, peace, social/economic justice or human rights.

Each hosting package provided under this initiative allows for 300 megabytes of server space, 5 gigabytes of bandwidth, plus a broad range of other features, including site transfer and some programming services if required.
