Young, Hip, Clothing Line Gets Political Message Across Through Conscious Fashion Statements That Prove Left Is Right And Grabs The Attention of Hollywood's Hottest Stars

Feeling the need to take action, Danziger assembled a highly ambitious team to carry out his vision of creating a clothing line with a purpose reaching beyond just a fashion statement, by offering a political statement as well. With a huge election underway, the company’s first line focuses highly on hot seat topics having to do with choosing the next President of the United States.

Included in The Original Lefty’s team is top designer Ravi Dosaj—whose design credits include: Von Dutch, Third Rail, and Label Whore. Dosaj’s catchy designs have caught on quickly, keeping the newly established company extremely busy filling orders for stores around the country. Celebrities including Barbra Streisand, David Arquette, and Edward James Olmos have purchased the designs. “What makes our company different is the artwork and graphics, which have a rock n’ roll edge to them,” Danziger said.

In addition to its political messages, the company aims to practice “compassionate capitalism” through the use of fabrics made in America, and by working in a sweatshop-free environment. The company also donates a portion of its proceeds to charitable organizations.

The Original Lefty’s second line—which is set to hit stores in November—will continue to include conscious messages, yet the company will expand its line to offer a broader garment choice and more clothing options.
