Grupo Gallegos Wins Silver at the London International Awards; Marks Only Award Given to an Agency Targeting the Hispanic Market Grupo Gallegos, an independently owned, full-service communications agency, won Silver for their TV spot “Elf” at the 23rd annual London International Awards (LIA). Grupo Gallegos was chosen from 17,969 entries, representing agencies from 81 countries. The LIA honors exceptional creative work in advertising, design and digital media. LOS ANGELES (Business Wire EON) November 12, 2008 -- "We are extremely honored to be recognized at the London International Awards for our creative work for the California Milk Processor Board [CMPB," said agency CEO John Gallegos. "As one of the leaders in reaching the Hispanic marketplace, advertisers come to us to convey their messages in compelling, creative and often humorous ways that resonate with our Hispanic consumers. Not only is this a win for Grupo Gallegos, but also CMPB whose message has been well received by the international Hispanic community. We look forward to continuing to produce award-winning work for CMPB and our other clients."
The CMPB's goal for the Elf spot was to encourage Hispanic consumers to drink milk at night as milk protein aids in improving sleep quality. In the spot, the town's resident elf drinks milk each night to prevent him from waking up to a chain reaction of noise throughout the village.
