A long-distance relocation from Oakland, California to Brooklyn, New York provided the catalyst for a new collection, as well as a new name and fresh new website at http://www.renatom.com. Formerly Pixie Jewelry and Somethingblue Papergoods, all of Rena’s creativity is now channeled into one location under her name, underlying the design studio approach to her work.

In jewelry, Rena’s must-haves include chunky rings and fabulous, one of a kind brooches to adorn fall’s new looks. The color palette has deepened into jewel tones and the pieces alternate in shape between delicate and ultra-bold.

In paper goods, there are new wedding invitation designs plus new notecards with smart, modern graphics, all hand-silkscreened onto fine Italian paper. Rollouts scheduled for mid-season include gift tags, baby and party announcements, and bookplates customized for traditional or multimedia library usage.
