Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) November 15, 2008 -- Parkson Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Axel Johnson Inc., highlighted several innovative technologies at the 81st Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference, which was held this year in Chicago, Illinois.
Parkson Corporation highlighted a number of innovative technologies, including the Rotomesh Screen which is a 0.5 to 1-mm screen used to protect membranes, the DynaLift™ MBR - an innovative, operator-friendly, out-of-basin membrane bioreactor, the Zickert Superscraper® - a highly efficient, low O & M cost sludge scraper, the redesigned HiOX® Panel - the world's most efficient fine bubble diffuser and the Thermo-System™ - the world's most popular Solar Drying System.
Parkson Corporation also hosted a successful after-hours seminar where Dr. Markus Bux, the inventor of active solar dryer technology and CEO of Thermo-System Industrie- & Trocknungstechnik GmbH, presented a seminar on Active Solar Drying. Worldwide interest in this technology has exploded due to the rising costs of fuel, the drive for green technologies and the need to reduce plant operator and maintenance costs. More than 125 Thermo-System™ Solar Drying plants have been sold throughout the world with 10 of these located in North America. Parkson exhibited models of typical plants as well a full-sized sludge mole on display in the booth.
WEFTEC was held in late October 2008 and is the largest wastewater exhibition in North America counting with thousands of tradeshow participants. The conference affords an ideal opportunity to view innovative new products and technologies, which provide myriad solutions for many of the vexing environmental problems facing the industry.
